This week in math, students will be taking the Algebra Qualifier and their Final exam during their perspective class period. Disney students have made accommodations to take both tests prior to their departure.
Monday-Thursday: During long periods, students will take the Algebra Qualifier
Monday-Thursday: During short periods, students will take the final exam
Friday: Students will work on the ABC project.
Homework for the week is to work on any missing assignments and turn in by Thursday, May 18th at 3:30 p.m.
Attached are the answers to the final review packet that was handed out to all students this past Wednesday. Numbers 32 and 33 were left blank on purpose. Constructing a box-and-whisker plot is the responsibility of the student. Students are responsible for providing process and steps for every question. Final Review

ALL signed permission slips and money must be received by this Friday, May 12, in order to attend the screening of Hidden Figures.
Students who do not return signed permission slip and money by this Friday will not be able to attend the movie.
In addition, students who have received 3 or more cluster detentions, 2 school-wide detentions, or 1 in-school / out-of-school suspension will not be allowed to attend the movie.
Signed permission slips and money may be submitted to Mrs. Tamez or Ms. Ajdiou.
Monday-Thursday: STAAR testing. In class, students will prepare for final exam.
Friday: Students will work on final exam review.
Homework: Work on final exam review.
IPC (Integrated Physics and Chemistry) placement test based on 8th grade science material will be given next week. The students will be placed into a matrix using data for 4 categories that include placement test, cumulative grades for math and science and a teacher recommendation. The matrix will not be completed until the end of the year, and students will receive notification of their science class options early in the summer.
We are not allowed to give any prep material for the placement test.
